In 2016, four pals decide to visit every racecourse in Ireland: visiting six courses a year, they’ll be finished in 2020. It doesn’t quite work out that way.

Originally envisaged as four men in a Freelander travelling round Ireland, having a bit of craic and a few bets on the way, Punters on Tour develops into a ten-year project that takes in twenty-six racecourses, two cancer diagnoses, a death, a marriage and a worldwide pandemic.

Part road trip, part grief meditation, part sports memoir, Punters on Tour is a unique Ireland-wide celebration of friendship and horseracing.
