My name is Austin McCann from Coalisland County Tyrone. I want everyone who buys this book to understand and believe we can beat cancer no matter what stage or what prognosis the oncologist says.

My diagnosis came when I fell and broke all my ribs on my left side. This was meant as an act of God as, in my stupid belief, the pain in my back that kept me awake was from building in the rain, with the proper people informing me bluntly that I would not live without chemo and their good medicine.

Stubborn as always, I did not accept this outlook and so inside the pages of this book I will tell you of the highs and the lows as I recall what worked for me and the foodstuffs which punished me. Follow my protocol as good food is good medicine and I am living proof of that fact.

The bone cancer I had was marked as Stage 4. I never received chemo or radiotherapy. My age, when I was told I needed urgent chemo, was 56 and after refusing this treatment, my life became a lot tougher as, at that point in time, there was no place to seek help. So I dug deep and did what I now know to be the right thing – I changed my whole diet to super power packed natural foodstuffs.

Thirteen years later and I am still going strong and healthy.
